How do you clean and reuse mesh coils
How to clean your coils
- Let your coil soak in ethanol, vinegar or cheap vodka for at least a couple of hours.
- Place it under the tap and rinse.
- Rinse once more with some distilled water.
- Blow air on the open side of your coil to force water to the wicking holes.
- Set it aside until all water has evaporated.
How many times can you rewick a mesh coil
Depending on the VG/PG ratio of the e-liquid, I can go up to 4 days on the same wick. Home built coils on the other hand can be re-used indefinitely. I usually replace my coil after about three weeks, though some vapers have gone as long as three months.
How long do mesh coils usually last
Generally, new coils last between one to two weeks, but that can be extended if you properly break-in new coils when you get them and practice good care and maintenance procedures during and between usages.
How long should a mesh coil last
A new coil should last between one to two weeks. However, most e-liquids leave a thin layer of residue when they are vaporized. This builds up around your coils and wicks and can end up clogging your device in the long run.

Can you rinse and reuse vape coils
Yes you can rinse it out really well and fire it a few times at low wattage to dry it out. Repeat this a few times and as long as nothing is burned it will be usable again but still not as good as buying a new coil. If you really know what you are doing you can actually rebuild the coil.

Can I wash mesh coil
Not all vape coils can be cleaned. The coils in Pod systems cannot be cleaned. The only solution to a dirty or faulty Pod coil is a replacement.
How often should I change mesh coil
Your Coil Is Used Up
If you are a regular vaper but not particularly heavy, it could last a week or two. Irregular or casual vapers might find they need only change their coil every four weeks. Whatever your vaping habits, though, you should consider e-cig Coil Replacement at least once a month.
